![]() ![]() Sonarr and SABznzbd are installed on HDD1. Files are downloaded by SABnzbd to HDD2 and Sonarr should rename and move them my NAS which is mounted. Sonarr and SABnzbd are talking to each other because Sonarr will trigger a download and SABnzbd will download it. I have a feeling this is a permission issue so here are things I've tried. The link between Sonarr and sabnzbd is a total mystery to me as is who does what after a file is downloaded and extracted. ![]() I put all the relevant users in each user group (i.e. My current setup uses Sickbeard and sabnzbd and setting it up is trivial, though I would love to switch to Sonarr in order to avoid the problems of a Sickbeard and Python. ![]() SickBeard collects nzb files for shows you add and it takes care of putting them in the final. sonarr, sabnzbd, user in sonar, sabnzbd, and user groups) which didn't work. I changed the user and user group of sonarr and sabnzbd to myself with no luck initially (I updated the user and group of the directories for those programs as well). This did work once when I changed umask to 0000, a downloaded file renamed and moved to the NAS. Subsequent downloads did not rename and move. One thing I noticed was that my NAS is owned by root:root with rwxr-xr-x permissions. I tried to change the write permissions but it keeps reverting back. So I tried to run sonarr as root:root (probably bad idea?) and again it wouldn't work. All other directories where files are being placed in this process have rwxrwxrwx permissions. The problem is that I just can't get sonarr to rename and move the downloaded file to the NAS. ![]()
